We are off!!! You cant tell from this picture but my car is packed! The bed of the truck is full and so was the back seat. If we had anything else we would have been overflowing.
After a little bit of a late start we got on the wrong highway. Oops.
Haha, we drove down the Extraterrestrial Highway at about 2:30 in the morning. It wasn't really the way we needed to go but we wanted to drive down it, to say we did and to maybe see something. Well we drove for about two minutes then decided that we where too scared. It was really creepy! Mostly it was just us freaking ourselves out. But still. We just turned right around and headed on our way.

Vegas Baby!!
We finally hit Vegas at around 4:30 in the morning. I was excited because I have never been there. We could see the glow for like two hours before we actually got there. I was surprised to see so many people still out and how much traffic there was. But it was Saturday night/Sunday morning. It was cool. Lots of lights. I'm excited to go back and walk around.
We took a little nap. It was only for like 45 minutes. That was the only sleep Joe got until we went to bed at like 10:30 that night. I slept for maybe two hours on and off the whole drive.
Just after our little nap and breakfast we drove past this sign. Yep its Zzyzx Road.

This is all the counter space we have in our little kitchen. It also only has two plug ins. One behind the stove and one behind the refrigerator. Creates a little bit of a problem. Yay for extension cords.
It was pretty overwhelming. With all of our stuff jammed into the living/bedroom, it looked like we had no room. Once we got everything put into its place we actually had more room then we thought.
It's Warm!!! 71 that day. Going from 30 degree,
